Hopefully you can
already see why I love Red Maple. The color and grain
variations alone differ from tree to tree, and sometimes
even from within the same tree. Look at the bowls
below to enjoy some of Gods
handiwork - all of which was locked up in the wood I was able to obtain. God
did the hard part by designing the patterns of color/grain/striping and
hiding it there in the tree - all I had to do was find the beauty that was
hidden, make my cuts in the right angles to best show these characteristics and
fashion it into a bowl!
This is the 1st time I've had more than 1 page of
JP'sGems in 3 YEARS !!! ...and there's almost 2 more to go!!!
